2019 Edition
The ninth edition of the PBCS research workshop will take place on 9 & 10 of May at the University of the Basque Country (campus San Sebastián, Salón de Grados, Faculty of Philosophy). The workshop is hosted by the IAS Research Group, Center for Mind, Life, and Society.

In this edition, we will count on the participation of Manuel Heras Escribano and Gaëlle Pontarotti as invited keynote speakers.
Manuel Heras Escribano (PhD Universidad de Granada, 2015) is Juan de la Cierva Researcher at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). His research focuses on the philosophical aspects of affordances, embodied and extended approaches in cognitive science, and the biological origins of cognition.
Gaëlle Pontarotti (Université Paris-Diderot) is specialized in philosophy of biology and extended inheritance.
